snack attack

I'm actually supposed to avoid most fruits, especially those high in sugar. Sometimes though, I can't help it, I get hungry and don't really have anything else to eat, and crave fruits. So today, at tea time, when I got peckish, I had a green apple and flavored water (cause I can't drink tea).

No, I didn't eat the flower. The flower was just placed there to add a pop of color.
(Would've been quite a dull looking picture otherwise. He. He. )

Leave the lemon and mint leaves in your water for about 20-30mins and remember, it's not sweet at all, so if you feel you need a hint of sweet flavor, go ahead and add some raw honey to it.

raspberry smoothie

What you need:

-Raspberries (20)
-Yogurt (2 tbsp)
-Almond milk (1cup)
-Honey, Coconut oil,Almond butter, Flaxseeds & Chia seeds (if you wish)

Blender,
Cup.

Yogurt is a good option for those who need their probiotics, and as raspberries are low in sugar, it's an ideal fruit for those who can't consume fruits too high in fructose.

Happyyy drinking!

Kale

I was so hungry today , got pretty peckish a few hours after lunch, decided I'd make some kale chips. All you need is.. KALE (haha, obviously).. , seasoning of your choice.. olive oil or butter (I used butter since there wasn't olive oil at home), and an oven. (Yeah an oven! wow betcha didn't think of that.. ).. heh OH also, I thought I'd add in some alfalfa sprouts cause I loooove my sproutts.. so yes add in whatever else you like..

So this took just about 20 mins to prepare and like 5 mins to consume. hehe, yummy in my tummy..

Here's some info about kale for you:

Bye bye bread

So over the past few months, I have seen the gynea at least once a month only to be told my infections are back. During my last visit, the doc told me that my hormonal levels during the pre menstrual cycle make me susceptible to yeast intolerance.  Sooo im back to eating a diet which doesn't promote candida growth. Bye bye bread, ah I love bread, just bread and butter and I'd be satisfied :(. Ooo gone are the days! Haha, Oh well! :/

Morning breakfasts will consist of yoghurt and low sugar fruits and/or juices now.

Lets just hope my dear body improves in immunity and tolerance soon ♥
