Now, some of you may wonder, well, what's the difference between someone who is vegetarian and someone who is vegan? Well vegans...

Yup, vegans don't consume any type of food derived from animals, so this includes food like milk and cheese which many vegetarians do consume, (not all, but many).

For those of you who are veg, or who have recently become veg, here's a little chart highlighting important foods to incorporate in your diet to provide you with the  nutrients you may be missing out on..

And to end off, a few quotes on vegetarianism.. all positive ones of course :)

  • The link below will take you to a video by Paul McCartney, it's short and straight to the point. It makes me cry everytime I watch it. He also says in the introduction " If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be vegetarian". I don't know if it's entirely true, but I believe that it will change many people's attitudes and beliefs about how animals and killed and how the meat in supermarkets actually get there, all nicely packaged and finely cut. Watch it if you want.
