Happy New Year! Oh man, so much has happened that I will have to really summarize my thoughts and feelings, so here goes:
On my trip to India, what did I learn?
1) FAMILY FAMILY FAMILY
There is nothing more amazing than the feeling of a supportive and loving family, who truly, only want the best for you.
2) Recognize Your Worth
Weather it's with friends, the person you love, your work colleagues, know that you are worth so much more, and deserve to be treated well. Keep shining on, don't compromise so much of yourself, be you!
3) If you have a sore throat: Gargle. Warm water with salt.
4) If you have a cough: Drink plenty of ginger tea with honey and lemon
5) If you have conjunctivitis: Apply your first morning pee on your eye, OR try applying warm water mixed with honey/ coriander leaves boiled in water and use it as a wash for your eyes.
You could also just go see a doctor. :P

6) Coconut water, is just the best!
Oh man most of those are my resolutions hehehe.. anyways, so here we go:
1) The lifestyle I choose to lead is in my hands. Nobody is responsible for my body, thoughts and actions, only I am.
I started this year not treating my body the way it wants to be treated. Okay I share with you why. So I went on holiday to India, and really, all I did was eat. I just ate. and ate, all that yummy food. (Don't get me wrong ya, there is nothing wrong in eating, but there is something not quite right about eating and not moving enough, hahah). So, I came back to Sg, and hey guess what? Continued to eat. Haha! So here's a reminder to myself and whoever is reading this.. Good health and taking care of your body, is a second by minute by hour by weekly by monthly choice. Do you want to feed your body and treat it right? Or do you NOT want to do that? How did I know my body wasn't feeling the way it wanted to? That's because I have been feeling bloated, 3-5 times my size, unhealthy, and just unhappy.
BUT HEY, can't dwell on the negative, got to pick up and change things, so I went for a run, noted my feeling before and after a run (truly felt amazing after a run) and had a healthy dinner. This morning, I started off with some fruit and water and will go for a run soon.

2) To continue to do what I love with authenticity
I love Yoga, and recently, I have gotten a new job, to teach kids Yoga. I also want to up my game and become the best I can be, and improve in my practice and offer more to others who want to learn Yoga from me. For this I need lots of discipline and to practice and learn from my heart, with continued authenticity and truth.
3) Love
To love and allow myself to be loved, with no boundaries
4) To recognize truth and surround myself with people who want the best for me
This year I want to surround myself with people who want the best for me, I too will support and be the best I can be for them!
5) To BE HERE NOW
Possibly the hardest thing but easiest at the same time, but hard to practice but I want to make easier for myself to practice, is to BE HERE NOW.
