Working it at work

How do you fit burning a few extra calories at work or during working hours? Here are a few ideas.


  1. I like this one, you can now buy these balance ball chairs and use em at work..




So you'd be sitting at your desk like this..  By using a balance ball, instead of your chair, you end up toning core muscle groups and improving balance .. all.. day.. long..



2. Take the stairs instead of an elevator or walk around the workplace instead of shooting an e-mail or texting your workmate.( Here's a tip, instead of walking slowly, walk a little faster.. it'll make you look like your upto something important, plus, you will increase your heart rate :P)

3. Get  A.... WAIT for it.... TREADMILL DESK!

I had no idea these things existed, but well, apparently they do.. 



Soon, you'll have the works.. and your working area might actually begin looking a little like this..





You could also just decide to start going for  walks/runs around your neighborhood (I'm assuming your neighborhood is a safe one ) before or after work.. which will  make you feel less guilty for being inactive at work and umm pretty much cost you nothing..:)
